A new 1450mm hot rolled strip production line of Tangshan Guofeng Steel was build whose annual output reaches 3,000,000 tons. The installed capacity of the electric equipment is 106.9MW. The main drive is AC-AC frequency conversion whose capacity is 60MW. The project newly build a 35KV switching station whose 35KV system connected with single bus. The power supply is provided by 35KV voltage classes.
  RXPE's SVC efficiently solved the series problems caused by nonlinear load, such as network voltage drop, voltage fluctuation, reduction of power factor and serious distortion of network voltage result from high-order harmonics. The production efficiency is significantly improved.
  After operation, the power quality test carried out by RXPE. The results illustrate the harmonic voltage and current of system both meet the national requirements. The improved power factor, saving energy and a clean network has substantially been acquired.
